WHO IS IT FOR?:
Professional training will be led by FLING's experienced artistic team and occasionally visiting artists.
Class will work through the contemporary movement practice of the lead artist, so expect variation between people.
Class will often move quickly with the expectation that participants are able to self manage and adjust content to their needs
Class will sometimes move slowly or deep dive into material with the expectation that participants can drive their own knowledge and curiosity.

- Local professional dance/movement artists seeking regular training and connection with other artists
- Recent graduates at professional/pre- professional skill level looking to extend and maintain their movement practice
- Visiting dance artists looking to train and connect with the Bega Valley dance community
- This program is for experienced adult movers or by invitation for younger artists at the discretion of the FLING artistic team.

Audition Notice!
FLING Physical Theatre is launching into an exciting new professional performance opportunity in 2026.
We are seeking 3 performers for a 4 week paid contract for creative development and premiere season of new work FAILURE.
Contracts are for Bega Valley based Emerging Dance Artists with high level dance & physical theatre skills. Additional aerial dance skills highly valued for this project but not required.
*Artists from outside the Bega Valley region are welcome to apply.
Please note living allowance, travel and per diems are not included.

FLING is delighted to collaborate with Stonewave Taiko and our youth performance companies on Okina Mura: Big Village.
An inter generational music and movement collaboration.
The project plays with themes of collective energy, drawing on movement patterns and tones from the natural world and the human made.
Swarming, churning and charged by the resonant sounds of the taiko drums.
With participants from 6 – 75 years, it’s a performance of mass, a visual and kinesthetic clash of joyful dance, drumming and artistic expression.
An inter generational music and movement collaboration.
