FAILURE is a bold and physically daring new work from FLING Physical Theatre, created in partnership with Legs on the Wall. After immersive concept and skill development over 2025 with our young company artists, FLING is striding into new territory with an accomplished cast of early career artists employed for our premiere season.

At its heart, this work is about possibility. It creates real professional pathways for young artists in the Bega Valley, proving that ambitious, high-quality performance can be made and experienced right here.

Driven by the raw talent of emerging regional artists, it asks a simple but urgent question: what if failure isn’t something to fear, but something to embrace?

Blending powerful movement with striking aerial performance, FAILURE explores risk, resilience and the courage it takes to be seen. It speaks directly to young people navigating a world of pressure and expectation, offering a different narrative - one where falling, trying again, and pushing beyond comfort are not weaknesses, but acts of strength.

FAILURE is both a celebration of boldness and a call to action: to take the leap, to trust the process, and to discover what becomes possible on the other side of risk.
