after
A new project with FLING Company 2024 as co - creators.
AFTER has been formed in response to our local natural urban/suburban environments here on Djiringanj land.
AFTER will be presented as a series of site responsive performance events in natural and urban locations across the Bega Valley in February and March 2025.
It will remain as an active project of Artistic Development in 2025 & 2026, with quarterly events of choreographic and performance research.
A container for experimentation, risk taking, exploring new collaborations and sustaining skills in performance.

AFTER is a container of contributions.
Of dancing, text, sound, illustration, film, photography
It's an unravelling of the (dance?) histories in us - and the archives in our bodies.
It’s a library
It's an all terrain vehicle - transposable
An experiment in contributing
It isn’t ABOUT an issue - but the issues are arising in the process
Endurance - enduring - sustaining - care
It’s our responsibility to radically listen - to place, people and our guts
Finding way to keep the dance alive
Was that a collective agenda? Or the path of least resistance?
Responding - not implanting
It’s flipping structures on their heads
The choice of the performer at the forefront - a directorial quest from the inside
It belongs equally to its contributors
This doesn’t exist without these people
